Workout Wednesday, Arms

Wednesday is the one day of the week where I get to spend more than an hour at the gym. Today I was snowed in, and decided instead to try a home workout. I discovered this guy on youtube while searching for a new arm workout. It's not as "full arm workout" as I'd hoped, but I've watched it about 5 times, and I already feel fitter. The plus side is, my arms aren't even burning.

I wonder where I put those dumbells...

Got milk?

I've heard many arguments for and against drinking milk over the years. Milk is a good source of protein and calcium, and contains chemicals which may help to prevent heart attacks and strokes, and fight some cancers. And yet, at the same time, many scientists believe that milk can increase the risk of breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men, and it's also been linked to conditions such as arthritis and diabetes. With all this contradictory information flying around the place, what's a boy to believe? Well, if it's good enough for these studs to pour over their bodies, it's good enough for me to drink! I like to think all things are good in moderation. I'm talking about the milk, of course -- not the men. You can never have too much man...

More Michael

It's a little difficult, and fruitless, for me to translate these videos of Michael Lewis and his workout regime. You don't need to understand them to appreciate this stud. Just watch that body, and enjoy. Each video is around 2 and a half minutes, so you needn't have a long attention span.

Killer Abs

Anton Antipov

When it comes to our bodies, there's one thing every man wants. No, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the six pack. There are no end of websites out there that promise to give you the six pack of your dreams, in return for a "small" recurring fee. Minimum 3 month contract applies. But the best advice out there, as with everything in life, is free. Here's a great routine that I found on youtube, and has worked wonders for me. Clearly it works for him, too.

SixPackNow is a handy little resource, too. You don't have to register if you don't want to, but they have some great little hints and tips in their preview sections. And if you need any more encouragement, here's Anton Antipov, undisputed King of the Abs, to show us what can be achieved. Or if we're feeling lazy, he's rather nice to look at.

So what are you waiting for?
